The Friends designed, restored and installed the Pollinator Garden with the encouragement of Hatchery Project Leader in 2020. The site was the former National Youth Administration building dating from the 1930's. Native plants, including seasonal wildflowers and grasses, are used exclusively and provide year round habitat and food for birds, butterflies, bees and wildlife. Interpretive signage is in place for self-tours. Group requests can be scheduled through our Outreach Program.
